Bonnell West is located south of Loveland off of County Road 21. From 14th Street Southwest head south on Country Road 21 to West County Road 16 and head west to Bonnell West. Homes in Bonnell West are in the 1300  to 8000 plus livable square foot range. Bonnell West includes a pool, tennis courts and play area as well as open space on the side of the foothills. Bonnell West is a fantastic community that is the best of country living along the foothills but close to town. If you like living a great neighborhood with easy access to Loveland shopping than Bonnell West would be a great place to live. Closest shopping is at the Thompson Valley Towne Center at the intersection of South Taft Avenue and West 1st Street. Bonnell West borders Lon Hagler wakeless Reservoir which has great fishing, camping, wildlife viewing and has an archery range and nature trails. Boedecker Lake is two miles west of First Street on County Road 21 then a half mile south. Boedecker Lake is a wakeless boating area. Sailboats and camping are prohibited, however, fishing, wildlife viewing and hunting for waterfowl are popular activities at Boedecker Lake. Bonnell West is within easy driving distance of Carter Lake for all recreational boating and waterskiing. Schools are Carrie Martin Elementary School, Clark Middle School and Thompson Valley High School.
